HW 3

The brand name of my product is Sony Playstation 3.

Five things that come to mind instantly are:
- blu-ray
- expensive
- video games
- technology 
- amazing graphics 

What shaped my decision to buy this product was the fact that it was a gaming system that you can also watch 1080p HD blu-ray movies on, The Nintendo wii and the XBOX 360 do not offer the built in blu-ray player.

I had two of the top ten tags on brandtags. I think everyones first perceptions on the Playstation 3 are going to be roughly the same I mean it is a fairly simple item as far as it is a gaming system that also plays HD blu-ray movies.

The commercial I chose for the assignment



This is one of my favorite commercials because I know Bam and Vince (aka Don Vito) on a personal level which makes it grab my attention a little more than the average Joe. Don Vito not being able to skate at all and falling at the end catches my attention the most in the comercial, I also know that he was intoxicated while filming for this commercial which adds comedic value in my opinion. Since I already use this product it doesn't really have a role in my purchasing decision. I believe this ad is very effective because the company Right Guard took two big pop culture icons at the time and used them to target the younger consumers to purchase their product.

A few goals I have set this semester

A few of the goals that I have set for myself this semester are:

- To stop procrastinating for homework and manage my time more wisely.

- To make more money, which would lead into less stress due to bills.

- Meet some new friends.

I look forward to the Spring 09 semester and I am shooting for that 4.0 GPA this semester.
